Arc Screen Simulator Theater
The Arc Screen Theater is a flying ride attraction that will take your customers on an unforgettably immersive journey. The curved "Arc Screen" creates an incredible 160-degree immersive view of the movie, taking guest right up to the action!
Goggles Free
This being a '3D Ride', guests will note the absence of something: there are no cumbersome goggles or 3D glasses to speak of! They are simply not needed in our theaters, as the on-screen action will be plenty "up-close". Guests will be enveloped by the expansive curved projection screen spanning an arc length of 23 feet and more.
Scalable from 6 seats to 200 seats!
This is our most successful simulation theater yet! We've found that this "Arc Screen" configuration is the most effective at creating the maximum amount of visual immersion while being extremely scalable in guest capacity. You can choose from 7 versions of this popular ride attraction, from 6 seat capacity, all the way to 200 seats! (Please see Table).
Your Guests' Journey Begins
Once in the Lobby, guests are first seated in a “Simulator Vehicle” (please see the ride's plan view). This vehicle can seat 6, up to 50, depending on the size of the vehicle & theater. Anticipation builds for your guests as theater doors open & the vehicle moves along a track into the darkened theater within. Inside the theater guests enter the exciting world of Skyrider XD, looking on in wonder as they come front & center into the action unfolding on the expansive 20’ to 69’ wide curved screen.

The theater is also equipped with an array of smoke, wind, and water mist modules to further the sense of immersion through All Dimensions, All Sensations. Hence the "XD" in Skyrider XD!
Soaring Through the Sky
While our enveloping screen provides impressive visual immersion, we also wanted to execute on other aspects of simulation, like the sensation of motion. Our engineers asked: what would most convincingly recreate the uncanny sensation of soaring through the sky? It turns out it's in the software. Our engineers built state of the art software to integrate with the hydraulic actuator system, articulating the vehicle in 6 axes of motion (pitch, yaw, roll). All the soaring, diving, & banking are perfectly synchronized with the action onscreen, producing a truly immersive and enthralling flying experience. All of this exclusive technology is patented, ensuring that Skyrider XD’s Simulator Theaters are unique and set apart from other amusement ride manufacturers.
